Chinese Culinary Icon · Since 1864
Quanjude Qianmen
Beijing, China · Peking Duck Restaurant

The story
Quanjude began on Qianmen Street in 1864 and helped codify the open-oven, fruitwood-roasted style of Peking duck. The original address remains a ceremonial destination where carving, service and historic-brand culture are part of the meal.
Why Quanjude Qianmen is iconic
Its craft is recognised as national intangible cultural heritage, and the Qianmen setting ties that tradition directly to old Beijing.
