The story
Opened in 1884 and later rebuilt in grand Art Nouveau fashion, Las Violetas is celebrated for stained glass, curved marble counters, bronze chandeliers and elaborate boiserie. Its restoration returned a beloved neighbourhood salon to Buenos Aires.
