Grossi Florentino
Melbourne, Australia · Italian Restaurant

The story
Florentino has occupied Bourke Street since 1928. Upstairs, Renaissance murals by Rinaldo Massoni, dark timber, chandeliers and red-shaded lamps create a theatrical Italian dining room embedded in Melbourne’s migration and restaurant history.
Why Grossi Florentino is iconic
Its visual identity and multi-generational hospitality make it part of Melbourne’s cultural fabric, not simply a long-running Italian restaurant.
